Just called. Didn't answer. No message. Rinse. Repeat.

Spam caller about my company has been approved for something.

My phone has a nice, warm, friendly greeting, inviting all to leave a message.  This must have been a robo call, because the caller hung up in the middle of the nice, warm, friendly greeting, and did not leave a message.

Two contributors (see above) have received calls saying that they were approved for "something".  So at present the best guess is a cold call from a high-interest lender.  The second guess is that the caller just wants to obtain as much information from you as possible - which opens the possibility of identity theft.

I think that the best thing to do is not to answer calls from 203-484-8080.

Said it was the IRS and they are filling a lawsuit against us. (The IRS doesn't call they send letters and are not located in Connecticut)

i'm getting so tired of this!  the complaints have been made against the phone companies who refuse to block this crap and they already have in canada... enough already!  we won't answer!

Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on numbers you do not recognize.  Most calls of this type originate in India and Pakistan.

Same stuff, different day. Scammer spammer. Nothing new. The phone companies refuse to do anything about these calls because the bottom line for them is more revenue. One day land lines will be a thing of the past.

203-484-8080 just called my cell phone. Didn't even bother to answer it. Did a search, found this page, blocked the number instantly.
