Robo called yesterday afternoon. Intercepted because of the way it was dialed. Caller ID said "Card Claims," so it's likely yet another credit card consolidation scam; you know, give us all your credit card numbers and we will reduce your interest rate and/or payment sizes.

Too bad 800notes does not offer a Suspected Scam option under Call Type.

Yet again! Another illegal Robo telemarketing scam.

Never provide personal information over the phone. Warn the elderly and the gullible. Telemarketing scams are the new email spam. It's the new way to get your credit card and identities.

Beware. Report. And warn others.

203-549-6691, Bridgeport CT.  Answered before looking at caller ID.  We use our home phone as our business phone during 8-5:30.  Answered with our business name and "how may I help you?". No response, no sound  waited 10 seconds and no dis-connection on their end.  I hung up.

"We have been monitoring your credit card files... If you still have $10,000 or more credit card debt... Please press 9..."

Number is a Choice One Communications VoIP in Bridgeport, CT with caller ID "Bridgeport CT."  Blocked.

Never press any key while this type of call is on the line.  They may use that as an excuse to claim an "opt in" and sell your number to the Bulgarian Mafia as such.

Answered the call by mistake. "Credit Card Relief" my foot.  When will the madness end ?

Ridiculous & weird call - first fog horn, if you would like to make a call.  please hang up and call operator.  then busy signal sounded.

I keep trying to get the outfit to send me a fax or an email just so I can mail them a cinderblock postage collect but they disconnect as soon as I say I'm a bit busy

Robocall started by saying they were Card Claims and had been "monitoring my files for 6 months". Not remotely possible in a case where they have no idea who answers a call. As soon as I heard that blatant lie, I hung up. I had only answered because my phone displays just the calling number, but no ID name, and I was expecting a call from someone outside my area code, whose number I didn't know.

Most scammers don't leave a message. For most of us, an unknown number that leaves no message gets BLOCKED.

Caller ID said Bridgeport, CT. I didn't answer, but a robocall voice left a message saying "...see how we can reduce your interest rates." Definitely a credit card scam. Do not give them any information.

Latest number being used by "Card Services" scammers. They've switched to "press 9" to speak to an operator instead of 1. But it's the same scam to get your credit card number and banking information.

Missed call but know the scam if you answer just don't say hello.
