This is a debt colletion agency regarding medical bills.  I had them calling my cell phone AND my house phone.  It is an automatic recording that will automatically call you.  I recieved 5 phone calls from them on my cell in a matter of 30 minutes.  They were looking for the wrong person but the calls will not stop unless you hold on, press the button and speak to the operator to get your number off of the list.  It is VERY annoying but that is the only way to get the calls to stop.

Yeah they keep calling me as well, and honestly if they were the real deal they would call you themselves instead of a recording mmmmhmm

do it exactly what "goodnews" says, call the number they give you, (866) 843-9729, it should be the same for everyone. one of the options was to dial 0 regarding an automated message, give the operator your name, and when they figure out theyve got the wrong person and/or phone number, he will promise to take your name off the list.

i just did this, lets hope it works.

I am elderly (my daughter is writing this e-mail for me as I am very distubed & frightened  at getting these anonymous calls ) & cannot understand what this call is all about.

Tara/goodnews' solution worked for me.  Call the 866-843-9729 number, wait through the recording, press 0 and tell the operator that they are calling the wrong number.

These @ssholes keep calling, but we know better not to answer calls that we don't know so they get ignored. None of us owe a DIME as our bills are always paid on time. So we ignore all calls to people we dont know. Bets to do the same.

All the folks stating that this is a collection company calling for the wrong person are absolutely correct.  I have been receiving phone calls and voice mails from them at least once a day for the past 3 - 4 days.  Same automated message the rest.  "this is an attempt to collect on a debt, please call 866 843 9729 and use the reference number xxxxx."  I am not sure what debt they are trying to collect on or if it is only for hospital bills, however I just called them back.  You receive an automated menu, and press zero for "responding to an automated message".  Supply the nice woman that picks up with the your phone number and she asks if you are xxxxx.  I replied no, that is not me and that I have never heard of him.  She will take your number off of the list.

Lets see if they stop calling now.  Bottom line, if you don't have any outstanding hospital bills, just call them back and ask them to take you off of their list.  This is just a bogus debt collector.

want a payment. call almost everyday. I keep repeating the same answer to them. still the call.

I just received a call from them also.  I let the call go to my answering machine   They never stated who they were looking for  .

This number comes in on my cell---I answer and am met with silence. When this happens, I'll call them back about 2 dozen times and hang up on them. Try it- it works!

these idiots call my number at least once a week, never stating who they are looking for.   I blocked their number from my phone and yet the calls continue.  I filed  complaints with the national do not call list every time they call.  Hopefully something will get done to stop this harassment.

Same here!  I got a call at 9:35am and again at 9:46am!!!  I mean 11 mins, come on!!!!  That is harassment.  I did notice something though which I found very odd.  I checked my cell phone, and every time they called me was on a day ending with a 1.  They started on Jan 21, then Feb 1, Feb 11, Feb 21, March 1.  It could be that they are calling every 10 days, but then why not Jan 31?  That was 10 days and also a 1. (and not on a weekend-although from some of these posts, they call on weekends too) Hmmmm.  IDK.  What I Do know is that they are PITAs.
