Texted me.  Addressed me as my deceased Father.  Inquired whether I'd ever thought about selling my dying Mother's home.  I did not reply, but instead blocked the number.

Called to purchase a home. Blocked and reported.

Received a text message stating they drove by my residence the previous week and wanted to know if I was interested in selling it. The contact number was blocked and the message deleted.

Keeps harassing me to sell my home.

Texted me “Hey, I havent heard from you. I'm assuming you arent ready to sell yet?”. Just another text solicitations loser.

The Unwanted Texter wrote:

Yes, your description as a "loser" fits.  Fairly pathetic if their thought process is "I don't think they want to sell, but I am going to text them anyway so I can be further disappointed."

Personally, this is the type of texter I like to mess with.
I will tell them "Yes, I would love to sell my home, but first I need to check with my wife.  Oh, it might be good to tell my landlord I am going to be selling the house and moving."  Get their hopes up and dash them against the rocks all at once.
Or, telling them that I am willing to sell but the non-negotiable price is $(a random number 50-100 times the market value).  And, it has to be a "cash only" deal, no bills larger than $20, all new, crisp and non-sequentially numbered.
Have yet to block their numbers, they just stop texting.

For pretty much any unwanted texts:
Forward unwanted spam/scam texts to 7726 (SPAM) and let your phone service provider deal with them.
That number was set up by the phone companies to combat spam/scam texts and they can shutdown offending phone numbers.
Never reply with "STOP", scammers will not honor the request (they have no honor to begin with) and it only verifies that they have texted to a valid number with a person who reads their texts.  It will not STOP the texts and may actually make them more frequent.
Never click on a link in such a text as it may cause malware to be inserted on your phone, and even if it does not, just as with replying "STOP" the scammers will know they reached a valid number.
Do not repost any links included in the text message to public sites such as this one.  It may subject others to malware if they click on it or, in some cases, it may reveal personal information posted on the target site of the link.
