Company calls itself "Warranty Solutions".  I asked CSR at least 6 times what city and state he was calling from.  It became funny since he kept returning to his script about my car warranty expiring, rather than answering my question ("It's simple... what state are you sitting in?").   Would you believe I was hung up on?  

Come on folks, if you get this call, try and keep them on the line as long as possible!  Ask THEM questions about what they are selling you to make it sound like you are interested.  Then after a few minutes tell them to put you on their do not call list and just listen - don't say anything else until they hang up.   It'll be good for laughs -- and a GREAT story to tell.  

Also - report the call to the FCC.

Called me in the middle of Biology offering an extd. warranty on my Jeep (bogus, as neither I nor anybody in my family owns a Jeep)... this is the third notice I've had from these guys, and it's getting on my nerves. I'd complain to the FCC but I'm not 18. Go gettem.

They called me super early on my cell. I own a older car with no warranty in Hawaii! This is the 2 nd time they've called me. Total scam, they must be reported and stopped!

"Ditto" same thing happened to me! Who's in charge of phone fraud and harassment?

Number came from +20-36374783 to my cell phone which I only use for text messaging & never answer calls or make calls.  I didn't answer it.  Just a pain.

Didn't answer.  I have been getting these "car warranty about to expire" calls, which is ridiculous because I just got the car with a new warranty from the dealer.

I live in Indiana and have received several phone calls from 203-637-4783, but I did not answer them; they left no messages.  I appreciate these websites that help us figure out which numbers are valid and which are not.  It's getting so bad on my cell now that I do not answer half my calls.

Thanks for giving me their address as I have ideas of my own on how to distirb them.   I just hope the address posted is accurate of course!

I Googled "Warranty Solutions" and the first listing is a South African company. Don't have time to sift through all the results right now, though.

NO, it will not!  Finally spoke to a representive after several calls from various phone numbers about the same thing (vehicle warrenty).  First words out of my mouth were "I don't own a vehicle" (a lie of course) then went on to tell her that I responded to the automated system expected to be removed from the calling list & before I could say anything else hung up abruptly... how rude!!!

Received my 2nd "Final Notice" that my Auto Warranty is about to expire this morning 04/29/09 from 773-249-5005 on my cell.  Received my 1st on 04/27/09 from 203-637-4783 again on my cell.  They leave a message that I just erase after listening to the first few sentences.  My warranty ran out years ago...don't fall for this pathetic attempt to make you part with YOUR money.  GOOGLE everything before becoming a victim.  Spread the word that even phone numbers can be Googled for info on items such as this scam !

I have been getting these calls from all parts of the country, and all different phone numbers.  I checked two of the numbers and one came back from an individual in Kellogg, Mi, one from an individual in Ct, others untraceable.  I don't know how they got my number either.  Also got a call that "if you're missing any of your mortgage papers".  I just don't even answer anymore if I don't recognize the number - just uses up my minutes.

Call and have your phone registered on the Federal do not call list. After you are on it 30 days and you get a call, report it to them - it's easy and only takes a minute to do.

This number calls me all the time when im at work, i never get to answer it, but when i call back it says please make sure u have dialed the right number. i wish it would stop calling me, im also getting other weird phone calls like this.

I don't answer unless I recognize the number. I suspect this is a "auto warranty is about to expire" SPAM/SCAM telemarketer that calls my number daily.

One of several numbers they call from. They got the home phone number, the cell phone number and now the magic jack number - which we have never given to anyone but friends. However, don't know that others haven't gotten it somehow. I just put the phones on do not disturb, and check the caller ID periodically; plus we have special rings for all pertinent people... I will file a complaint with the FTC as always and add number to my growing list of morons that call and that are scumbags...

100% random! It is called "cold calling" or "cold sales." Some are actually legit but you should NEVER use their service! They charge anywhere from 20% to 150% more than most service warranty. In most cases you pay big $$$ for AIR. Meaning you get nothing for your money. NEVER EVER GIVE INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE! YOU WILL REGRET IT IMMENSELY!
