Nope called me to and left NO message

This number appears to have been spoofed as it appears with legitimate entries in CT White Pages reverse lookups & others. Robocall, possible scam. The Robocall left a VM because of whatever triggered it to talk got it to do so for too long, so all I heard was literally a robo-speech that picked up in the middle of whatever these people were trying to get money or info or whatever from the people they call saying "increasing business calls for you in your area. Press 1 for [whatever, maybe to continue, it wasn't very clear]. Press 2 to be removed from the list."

Called 5-16-16 10AM and left no message.

Same thing. 10:09AM

Received a call from this number this morning, but I don't know anyone in CT and don't do business with any company there. No message left.

Spam and possibly scam too. Robocall stating something about working with google to increase business and number of clicks to webpages.

I never pick up on unknown numbers.  This one didn't leave a message and I don't know anyone in CT so it's obviously a scam or telemarketer.

Called 9:14 am Monday. Lame. Gonna block it

Got a call today 11:16 am CDT.  Thank you everyone for reporting here.  I had a call from a different number Friday with similar MO.  BLOCKED. :)

scammers called; didn't answer it and blocked this number from future calling.

they called and left a voicemail, something about small business advertising. was a robot.

Called 11:15 am. Sent to voicemail.  No message.

I received a call from this number today - came up as Branford, CT. I am currently dealing with something in that exact location, so I thought it was relating to that. Nope - it was a prerecorded message. It said they can "guarantee first page Google rankings" in no time at all. As a web designer myself, I was curious to see "who is this competitor of mine guaranteeing things that are impossible to guarantee?" I was curious to find out what the company name was. It asked me to press 1 to be connected to a live person. 99.9% of the time I would never do this - I'd just hang up and block the number. This time I pressed one. It connected me to a guy who said he was calling from a company called "Zoek" - I asked him to repeat this a couple of times and spell it out - ZOEK. He said "let's get started with your first name" sounded legit. I gave it. Then he asked if I was calling from somewhere - I said no and gave my town. Then he asked "what are your 2 most profitable products/services your business sells" again sounded legit and something I'd expect from this sort of company. As soon as I gave him the last answer, he said, "OK" and the phone call cut, and that was the end of the call. I immediately knew it was a phishing attempt. I contacted the proper authorities including the FTC. Hopefully nothing serious comes of this - but be warned as this was another clever way to phish.
