call from Academic Advisors when I called back....they say to get taken off list enter cell phone number. I've done this three times and they keep calling back... - caller: 203-643-9304

Scammers love it when suckers fall for this trick. All you did was confirm your number. Now you will get even more junk phone calls. Congrats.

You might want to look into call blocking device. There are a number of models available. Do some reasearch to find the one that fits your needs.

I just received a call from this number asking me for personal information like birth date, graduation from High School, full name, zip code, and addressunknown

If you signed up for free stuff online. Or free education or like pick this or that for free gems,gold,coins etc for a game that's why they are calling but your surprised.

I tried blocking and they somehow call you back . They keep calling . I told them not to call but they call you back . They say they are from Academic advisors and would like you answer some question . I told them to remove me and they said they would remove me . I hope I dont receive any more calls from them. They shouldnt even call cell phones but they do .

These people called me because I applied for a job through getmedicaljobs.net. Even though I checked the box NOT interested in furthering my education, they call anyway. Job boards like getmedicaljobs.net, Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, and ihiremedicalsecretaries, along with many others. It makes it very hard to apply for jobs on these stupid and worthless jobboards because you can't get around this feature.

Got a phone call from someone named Ashley, claiming they were from Academic Advisors, when asked " in what capacity they represented Academic Advisors?" They would not answer and hung up!
