Will do no good,,  I think DNC is another fraud committed against us by our gov.  We fund it but no one really there,  It does no good to be on list.   We have been had.

Called and left no vm when machine picked up.

Eversource is the new name for CL&P. They are also supposed to be reducing residential rates for the next few months. I have no iea why a utility companywould agree to reduce their rates but it was in our local newspaper. If you call Eversource they should be able to tell you whether or not it was them.

"cheshire ct" - no message left. Calls about 1x every 1-2 weeks.

This number called today, but left no message.  After seeing all the comments, I can guess who called and now I know it's a scam.

Have received numerous calls from 203-649-1015 Chesire CT also just got one from 203- 651- 6877 Cheshire CT. The second number actually wanted to set up some type of in person home visit claiming to be some company that would help lower bills. When I called the number back it was a disconnected number that once belonged to a lady named Lakesha. They obviously are spoofing the numbers because you can't make a call from a number that's no longer in service. What's really creepy is that they are now trying to gain entry into peoples homes. Reported it to the police.

Claimed to be from some electric company that I never heard of.

Calls several times a day. Sick person here-waiting for call from Drs.  Can't keep running to phone for these unwanted calls!

Didn't recognize this number. Called the number & recording says they are Energy Advisors helping you to lower your rates.

Missed the call but can tell who the spammers are.

Scammers? Well, Duh! The silver lining, at least this tells me that my phone still works! If I don't recognize the number, I never pick up. And if I want to make myself feel better, I play my Tom Mabe, Murder Scene Prank Call clip from Youtube.

I received a call and it was obvious it was a robocall; which is a computer assisted program that automatically dials numbers in sequences to random homes so a no call list cannot block this type of call. The clue is that there is a delay from when you answer the call until someone actually speaks. This number is some scammer that asks you about your electric bill. Sounds long distance and there is a lot of static. Hang up and if you have time go online or call your phone service provider and ask that that block that specific number. I have done this and then another scammer from somewhere else calls...Not much to do but finding how to block it online directly yourself saves time if your service provider allows that.

Actually - while most of these folks selling electricity misrepresent, I answered this number and it was for Verde Energy and the representative was very well spoken once I slowed him down and got him to stop trying to get me to get out my electric bill and sign up on the spot.  He gave me a number to call back and an extension with his name. So this number, while probably not the actual caller ID (sometimes I answer the unknown ones just for amusement) was actually legitimate - this one time!   He did give me a number to call back on - not sure how legit that is, but usually when you ask for a callback number they're done with you. We'll see - I battled my way through the energy supply calls last year and saved a lot of money but not by phone - I did my research on line.  Worse yet is when these folks come to your door - we actually called the police on one - he was harassing elderly people in the building, and us....

Just received a call from this number. The young lady said that I received a letter stating that by law they could remove the sales tax for delivery and since I did not call about this info she was calling me to discuss it. Needless to say I never received such letter. I asked her if they were an Esco,  she said no, but that they were with green energy. She kept insisting that I get my bill, because that is the only way for her to help me. It seems that all she wanted to do was to help me lower my bill, because the government says that I do not have to pay the high sales tax on delivery. Don't you think that my electric company would know this. I also think that this is a scam. Lookout!!!

I got a call from this number to beware  of this number
