This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls.  Your posts help warn others about specific phone numbers.  However,  reporting them here does not stop the calling.  YOU have to take action to do that!  (google is your friend).  Consider buying a call blocker from your favorite store if nothing else works.

This site is for exchanging information on phone scammers, basically.   More information that's out there, the less successful the phone scammers will be.  

In your case see if there's an application that can block calls on your cell.  

Also there are postings to let people know  how to contact law enforcement and public agencies with complaints about telephone crimes.  Or attempts at crimes.  I've personally noted that a few of the Indian scammers, and others,  are reading this site and attempting to post nonsense  defending their stupid scams.  Which means their income stream is being affected negatively.  So I think there is some concrete good being accomplished.  

I realize that no system is perfect, and we'll  never be 100% free of phone scammers, but at least some progress is being made.  

The way I see it. the two biggest culprits are the debt scammers both foreign and domestic,  and   the Indian scammer/extortionists.

This is simply a discussion forum that allows people to their experiences with unwanted calls.

Received 3 calls in 2 days, July 2nd  and July 3rd.  I had answered 2 calls, a male caller, asking for a man.  I did not understand the name that he was  asking.

Calls 2-3 times a week leaves no message

Said he's from the "Warranty Processing Center" and it concerns my current vehicle, of which he knew the name and model.  It's a lease, but I didn't tell him that.  I like to keep them on the phone to waste their time and let them read from their script.  then I try to act ignorant and ask a bunch of questions.  But as soon as I asked the name of his company he hung up.
