I am confused.  Exactly what do they want? $50. To clean a chimney sounds pretty cheap.

These idiots can call me all they want. I have a PrivacyCall phone blocker and my phones don't ever rings when they call. In fact, I only find out they called when I go to clear the various caller ID boxes in the house.

Until the stupid US government makes real rules to stop this abuse you need to use a machine to screen the calls. Sad this is it will never happen as the telemarketers grease the palms of every politician on the planet!

“East Coast Cont” came up on the Caller ID. I didn’t answer, they didn’t leave a message. Reading through these comments, it’s clear "East Coast Cont” is a scam. They pretend they’ve cleaned your chimney before, saying things like, “our records show it’s time to clean your chimney again, when do you want us to come this year?” etc. They may offer a $50 cleaning — don’t fall for it, because they’ll send some guys to “inspect” your chimney, and then — surprise — they’ll claim it’s a fire hazard and that you must get your chimney “re-lined” immediately at a huge cost. Who are these people? What is their company name? What is their company address? What are their qualifications? Are they insured? Do they guarantee their “work?” Is their truck unmarked? Red flags all over the place. Sorry, it’s my home, if I want chimney work, I’ll find a real business to do it. But this is the best part: MY HOME HAS NO CHIMNEY. Really doubt they cleaned it “last year."

They have been ringing me twice a week at 9 am I don't know how they got my mobile number and I'm from Ireland so I'm really annoyed they got my number. How do I report the number?

This number is calling me all day today. I mean easily 10-12 times. Left one voicemail but did not speak. I will not answer or return the call. wtf?

I do not appreciate unwanted calls .. I live in the UK & there is no reason why USA would be calling
