Would not identify themselves, tells me they're recording this conversation, then spits out a date and asks me if that's my birthday. I told them if they're not going to identify themselves, they're going to record silence starting right now. He asks about a birthdate again and then hangs up after 10 seconds of silence. I guess these tactics intimidate some and I would've gladly answered any pertinent information if I trusted the caller but for all I know this guy is trying to collect info for a ID scam.

Told me the last 4 digits of my SS# and asked me to verify. I asked why and they hung up on me.

The caller is Emageon Inc. since they keep calling from multiple phone numbers and Never even extend the courtesy of leaving a brief voicemail message Identifying themselves it must not be THAT important to them or anyone.

Now see there's nothing Right about them doing that ...

Generally companies never call to handle transactions over the phone that require a person to give pertinent information regarding themselves or an account over phone you never Know who is actually calling and asking ...

Hey everyone...I Just read on another site about this 205-313-0989 ......... it is an IRS scam. DONT ANSWER!!!! They will leave a message stating you have to call them back or a warrant will be issued. Its a SCAM!!!!

They have called me 3 times. And each time, I say "No, that's NOT my social!"

They won't stop calling! This has got to be SPAM!!!

They call me several times a day how can I get them to stop. This is ridiculous. Yes, it is an IRS scam. All foreign language callers.

It seems that a professional company would first Identify "Themselves" first Prior to requesting Any form of personal information guess the first thing to do if you have them on the phone is ask Them to identify Themselves first and ask the nature of their call.

They are most likely attempting to collect of something since they don't even use proper phone etiquette by identifying themselves prior to asking any kind of personal information.

I have to Think that it has anything to do with the IRS they would first notify by mail that there is a problem or an issue to be resolved they are very professional.

it is RMB.  Healthcare companies outsource them to collect debts.  So all of you reporting this company here not knowing who they are, you have outstanding medical bills.  If you ignore them, eventually your debt is turned over to an attorney.  That is when things really start to suck,  Because a small bill balloons into an enormous amount.  You have to pay the bill, court fees, and all attorney fees.  You don't have the money to pay all of that?  Don't worry, they garnish your pay check at that point.  Not fun...I speak from experience.

Brad seems like someone who works for or with RMS. Clearly its fraudulent activity because outsourced legitimate medical expenses come with valid identification as well as a means of contact , as well as something in writing. Shame on you Brad for invading this site to frighten people being harassed by your company. Tell them we see through your BS and you should get some balls before sending another call, to another unsuspecting person, [***]

There's a message saying to lower your credit card interest rates and to press 9 to speak with a representatives.

The guy said he was with RMB and he was looking for my mother-in-law talking about it was a "personal matter". Clearly it is a scam because I am the last person my mother-in-law would put on any debt she has. Her sons and daughter would be first and then maybe a niece or cousin. They are full of crap!!!
