A friend of mine got a call from this number claiming to be from the IRS.  I reported it to the FTC.

Got the same call today Nov.3,2015 12:30PM..Claiming to be IRS with pending lawsuit.Be alert folks..A lot of starving scammers today..It was a recorded message if this helps anyone..

Claims to be IRS threatening a lawsuit. When I called back, they hung up on me after telling them I want formal documentation of this lawsuit. The gentleman stated that I owed IRS 3852.00 for taxes between 2009-2013. He also stated that the IRS has proof I defrauded the IRS and I told him to show me the documentation. That was the end of the conversation.

Just got the same call.  Really sad that unfortunately some fall for these scams.  The IRS would never call like this.

Alas, the scam artists have just given me another unwanted nuisance call. Just hope others do not fall for this deception. They are the scum of the earth!

I received several telephone calls from Alabama 205-563-8668. The caller name David said an arrest warrant was issued against me for $4,220.00. He said I filed my taxes incorrectly for  2009-2013. This person claimed to have sent two letters to me to resolve this matter. This person asked me to pay by credit card to prevent being arrested, my passport confiscated eta.

I got this vm today. I new it was a scam because the irs would not leave a prerecorded message. I tried calling them back but nobody would answer. I wanted to tell some idiot off but they dont answer.

I had recorder message from this number (205) 563-8668 clamming to by "IRS Internal Revenue" telling me they were going to take legal action against me.... For what????  IRS do not leave this type of messages, they send letters..... Don't fall for it !!!!!

Received a call from 205-563-8668 around 8:30 am.  It went to voicemail and it was a recording that only said "Hello".  I guess they needed to talk to a real person.  Found out it was a telemarketer and I have blocked them out after reading the reviews and seeing this report on the news last night.

This number left a voicemail saying irs is filing a lawsuit.

Got the same call just a few minutes ago, they called with a pre recorded voice saying the IRS was filing law suit and to call them back at this number 205-563-8668, so I did and this guy sounded like a idiot and started asking personal question, so I then told him if he was really the IRS he would already know all this info lol he got really frustrated and said he got the wrong number, lol you bet your butt you got the wrong number scam artist!!

Got the same call earlier today. I knew it was a scam as well. I wish these people would quit it.

I just received a call from 205-563-8668 saying they were the IRS......ha ha ha.....I laugh.  I guess they think I'm a moron.  I hope these scum are caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.  They are no better then the dirt on the bottom of my shoe.

Got a call from this number claiming they have a lawsuit against me. I don't even live in Alabama nor have I ever lived there or even paid taxes in that state. I want answers!

Lol I called back on a *67 got an answering machine in Spanish..  said I was the FBI (I'm not)  and  said they were being investigated and to please call me back immediately!

Left threatening voicemail saying IRS has law suit pending .

I hope you left them the main FBI phone number to return the call to.  LOL  They left the message on my prepaid emergency cell  (no one was given the number) a few days ago.   There is a place for these con artists.  It's called Hell.

Hmm They going after all Stephen's with a (ph);I got this too But ironically I'm dealing with IRS on identity theft of my s. s. # and almost tough it was part of threats they were trying with me to collect on a 2010 Bogus E-File from out of state using my S. S. #, But it wasn't, I told person I was working with about this call and they were very interested on all info on it I could give them & even let then listen to recording; Yes as bob say's this is a scam that is being tried.
The IRS WILL send you a certified Letter first before doing ANY action's to give time (not much of) to respond in case it's one of the many fake E-File's that used the Soc. Sec. # of someone on low fixed income that is N R F (not required to file).

Don't let this scam caller scare you!!  Also got calls with deep Indian (India) accent.  Threats of warrants and arrest for fraud which I do not do.  Asked for supervisor and they hung up on me.  A month later got another call from Boca Raton FL.  561 208 3049.  Same thing but this time it went to VM and they threatened if I did not call back in a timely manner then, good luck to me since this (unknown) matter was URGENT and I would be arrested.  SCAM !!!
