I posted an ad on Craigslist and got a text message from this number. How can we report them?

I got a text after posting ad on Craigslist as well.

Craigslist scammer, beware

I posted an ad on Craigslist also.  I got a text message and a picture I couldn't open.  I'm glad I checked here before calling the number back.  I love Craigslist, but these scammers take the fun out of it.  Wish there was something more we could do to stop them.  Any ideas?

Caller left message saying they were getting their boyfriend a bike like I advertised and asked if it was the same. I, too, was unable to open the picture.

This is an Alabama number.  I listed an ad for item wanted and he sent me a link to a picture I couldn't open.

I also posted a Bike and got a text from this number with a pic that wouldn't open.

Posted a snowmobile on CL. Got a text with a link saying they were purchasing one for their husband and wanting to know if it was the same. Didn't bother opening it. Annoying...

same here, craigslist.  i tried to open the picture & got spyware a plenty, luckilly, this isn't my first rodeo.  the programs i used to correct the problem were, combofix, tdsskiller & rkill

the virus is a google redirect, messes with the whole system & browsers

if we opened the link will it put a virus on our computer or phone... i have a mac

Just got this text.  Said they wanted to buy a bike, had link to picture, but I did not try to open.  I had not posted anything for sale on Craigslist, so I am not sure how the person got my number.

Again, same as everyone else.  I just posted an AD on Craiglist and the text showed up few minutes later

I also received a text message from this number about craigslist ad about jewelery. Obviously a scam.

Same thing,   I live in Alabama so I thought it might be real but I googled it first
