I keep getting about 5 calls a day from this number when I do answer I get hung up on this is ridiculous.

Same thing as others report. Call and call, no answer, no message. I suspect it's a foreign telemarketer from an online pharmacy.

Got back to back calls from 205-588-8485 on separate lines that I have. I think that is a telephone exchange that a lot of businesses have in Birmingham but they did not leave a message. 10-25-10

I received 8 calls from 205-588-8485 today and in the past week.

Since I don't recognize the number, I didn't answer it figuring if it was important they would leave a message. I guess it wasn't important as they didn't leave a message. There is NO law saying you have to answer your phone and I don't unless I want to, even if it is someone I know.

I'm going to report them to the do not call registry of which my phone is listed. I hate being called by sales and telemarketing people. If I do answer and find out it is someone trying to sell me something, I get very nasty with them, calling them a bunch of vulgar names, etc. and tell them to remove me from their list and never call me again.

Another thing I do is block them so they can't call me which is what I'm going to do with these jerks.

I am glad we have these sites.  It gives me peace of mind.

The number is from Pinnacle Financial:  a debt collector

it's pinnacle financial, I got a call from them with this number and another one. the lady asked me if I could pay the amount owed. I told her I wasn't going to get paid for another 2 week and the she started asking how I'm going to take care of my family and a bunch of personal questions I ended up blowing up on her and telling her off and the stopped calling from that number
