It seems if you pick up your receiver but don't say anything, the call ends in about a minute without the robocaller ever triggering its spiel.  I have been doing this for about a week, and suddenly I am getting only one or two spam calls a day instead of that many or more per hour. After all if someone calls me who wants to speak with me, they should say hello first when the connection is made. The resulting silence of the phone is very pleasing.
Works with all spam calls so far except for "Cristie on a recorded Medicare call"" but she disconnects after about 45 seconds.
