Said a federal case was about to start against me, but wouldn't say why or give me a case number. Then told me to stop playing games? 😂Total scam. Don't answer.

Caller left a voice message, identified himself Carl Thomas with office of Abner, bang and associates. Claimed there is a case in my county that involves my name and social security number directly (he didn't provide any specifics, didn't have any of my personal info), asking me to call back to obtain a defensive statement in order dismiss me from any malicious intent. Provided a separate callback number of 210-568-5803.

caller said name Carl Thomas with my social and said that I committed check fraud and will be prosecuted. Then got me over to a lady that answered and said investigator and said I had a check fraud case that she would let me know when to appear in court. Its a scam!
