Unrecognized number.  Blocked for the future.  Scumbags and thieves.

I received a telephone call from (205) 679-0897 for the first time this afternoon at 3:00 pm on my home landline.The Caller ID only showed the number. I didn't answer phone and they didn't leave a message because I don't have Voice Mail. From researching the number it belongs to the same scammers with the robocall for lowering debt on credit cards. I have received multiple calls from these people with the same message but from multiple phone numbers. I live in Alabama and they are using the "205" area code to trick me into answering  phone. The telephone number is probably spoofed.

A robocall from credit card services to lower your interest rates SCAM - A search shows this number to be from Montevallo, AL. A land line using BELLSOUTH TELECOMM INC DBA SOUTH CENTRAL BELL TEL. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked. When you call the number back, a recording says this is not a working number.
