This number sent me a fraudulent air bnb scam claiming I booked an air bnb when I definitely didn’t

I did book an Airbnb and the confirmation did come from this number as well as being confirmed though the email I supplied.  Someone may have left an incorrect number when booking

Was there any issue with your reservation?

Got a message from them that my air bnb is confirmed. I've never used air bnb.

This number said I booked an AirBnB and worried me in thoughts maybe somebody got my card info or something. Plus, because I do music and am known I wondered if it was to scam personal info out of me while I am also on probation, so booking a reservation in Paris would be a direct violation. This has to be a scam.

Or simply a wrong number.

Texted me three times on different occasions now claiming to have the details of my airbnb reservation

It seems that AirBNB has indeed taken this number for their communication with users.

Claims his friend needs to talk to me about a thirty night rental starting today.

They sent me an email and a text asking me if my place would be available this weekend all the way to the third after reading all this stuff I believe it might be a scam thank you

I received a Text saying it was Air B&B.  Oddly it had several partial texts from emails I've gotten from  ABB.

I have received two Text messages claiming to want to book an Airbnb Room. I talked with Airbnb and they said they do not use SMS text , they only communicate through their APP or by E-mail

Inquiring with legit AirBnB hosts and verification code is texted to me via 205-851-4558. Airbnb is based in San Francisco. This is a AL (Alabama) phone#. Same phone# texted me to book at the locations I was inquiring. Didn't want to book AirBnb had questions only. Typically they should come via your email. Apparently a scam. (Ph# belongs to a Carl G in Montgomery AL). ALSO got AirBnB codes texted from ph# +16417428227 which is Adair, IA.
