Supposedly calling from some Federal Grant association to let me know I have been selected for a $7000 grant which I never have to pay back. Yeah... That sound legit...

Just got a call from this number.  It was for a free grant from the US Government and I had been selected to receive it with out having to pay the money back.  The guy on the phone was struggling with English.  Wanted me to write down a confirmation number and then call a financial officer with his company.  At that point I told him to stuff it and stop scamming people, hung up the phone and blocked the number.

Same as above reports: says he is from a government grant division and I was randomly selected to receive a grant for $7,000 Tax-free. I had a hard time understanding him because English was not his native language. I bet he's related to the people that keep sending out emails from the Ivory Coast.

I too received 9 phone calls from this number back to back! Talk about relentless, OMG! I didn't answer the phone because they would not leave a message any of times they called. So I tried to see who it was calling because all it said on the called ID was "caller unavailable" and earlier there was a different number that said, "out of area" and that number was  just a "0"!
