Got call today. I didn't answer, no message

I got the same call just now... I answered i heard a little beep then it hung up....

Have received many many of these this month.

I had the same experience today from 916-111-1111.  No one there when I answered and when I called back got the "no such number" message, but stay on the line and you get a cryptic message.

This number has called 3 times already I won't answer, finally blocked it on my phone so much for the do not call list. I get more unwanted calls now then I did before

I've been getting lots of calls from unknown numbers on my cell lately.  I usually don't answer but I'm getting really tired of it.   Got a call from this number today the gentleman (with a very heavy accent) said my first name and when I asked who he was he said that he was from the Federal Government Grant program and asked how I was.  When I said I was well he hung up.

How do I get a hold of these people !!! Nothing but pest, scammers. There needs to be a way to track them down and fine them for the amount of $ they want to "GIVE" you. Wait till I get another call from "Whom ever they really are ". They said they were from The Government - Health and Human services.
