Received a call from an unknown person, who placed a Visual Voice Mail trying to contact me.

Ignored call from this number. It left automated voicemail stating it was from a "correctional facility".It didn't sound legit and I don't know ANY ONE who's in jail or prison. If it WERE legit it would likely state the nsme of the prison/jail, not just "a correctional facility".

Update to above comment I left. Securustech number from an inmate with the wrong number calling from King county correctional. Securustech offers collect calling services for inmates and from what I've read charges a fortune for it..

Sounded fake. The message that was left said it was a correctional facility. Didn't say which one...pretty sure its a scam.

Yes, this is legit, its from the king county adult detention facility - The Jail. Someone there was trying to make a collect call to you, and this is the rather long drawn out automated system that eventually says "press 1 to accept".

I was suspect about the call, but received a call 4 times in a row and accepted the collect call. It was from someone from King County Jail that dialed a wrong number.

I blocked this number as I get calls from it daily but even after the phone call said blocked they were still able to leave me an automated message, filling up my voice mail! WTH? Blocked calls should not be allowed to leave a message, what's the point! Clearly someone at the jail has the wrong number, I told the bondsman too that called that I have no idea who they are and they have the wrong number, but they still keep calling. Very irritating! Oh and when you call the number back it is a recording that gives a website but it isn't even clear, sonded like secureustech.net but that doesn't exist.

Free call from King County Jail in Seattle Washington.  People are able to place a free 5 minute call before they are officially booked into jail.

Wanted my credit card number in order to accept an important msg. Reported the number.

This call came to me last night from an inmate at the King County Detention Center. It was not just a pre-booking call, as he had already been in for 6 days. It was legitimately an inmate call, and, yes, we did get to speak for five minutes.

This is a correctional facility, probably a family member or someone calling that knows you, or In a wrong number.if not it doesn’t matter it won’t do anything to you...It is definitely someone in a jail

King County Jail.  You have to pay to talk but, it's legit.

Why would you look up a number when you already know who called you?

That is legit number it is somebody calling from king county jail.  Unfortunately I know this because a family has called me many times from it

I don't know anyone in jail, but would like to know who it is.  I don't feel comfortable giving my credit card number but am thinking about calling them.  I am so confused!

This phone number was a caller calling from King County Correctional Facility.

I received 4 calls in a day from this number. I contacted Securus directly via the customer service and was told they didn’t have any facilities in Seattle (206)
