Received a call from this number and also 202-241-6151 and also 773-888-5381 all about same thing.

Something about tax fraud and being arrested got a call like this last year it’s a scam

Was called this morning told serious allegations and needed to pay a fine. Was put on hold then hung up on

Got a voicemail and it was mentioned to discuss some legal matters else I may get arrested

I've gotten several calls similar to this between this time last year and today. It is a scam and is not to be taken seriously. The IRS never calls and leaves threatening messages, they will do any correspondence by postal mail. Beware of these calls and don't ever give them any information if they ask for it. Thanks for all of your comments and good luck. There will always be someone trying new tactics like this to steal info. Always be cautious when dealing with situations like this, or unknown numbers that call you. If it sounds suspicious or something feels off about certain calls, trust your instincts, you're probably right. Just hang up or let it go to voicemail.

Same phone number, IRS and I have (4) "charges" and that "I am going to be arrested if I don't call back within 24 hours."

This is a scam claiming to be from the IRS accusing of Tax Fraud and claiming that there is a federal warrant out for your arrest. They provide fake federal ID 3, fake case # and fake warrant # to make it seem legitimate.  The caller said there name was John Harris from the IRS. Threatened arrest from local police unless a payment was wire transferred from Walgreen, Walmart, or Dollar General.

I keep getting these.the latest one is i have 4 allegations against me and that the local cops will arrest me how do i stop these calls.should i report this to police
