Phone call came in approx 9:00 AM January 26, 2010, left no message. We called back and left a message that their # was going to be forwarded and reported to the federal gov't for violating the do not call list.

They called. I did not recognize the number so I didn't answer it. They hung up. No message left.

I get a call from this number at least once a week and it's always the same thing:  A message is left but there is nothing on it.

They call 2 to 3 times a day. I called the number back and its just a recording to send a fax or leave a message. I yelled into the phone to stop calling.

States that on their website it is a lawfirm in San Diego and El
Cajon, Ca. 825 Broadway Suite # 825 San Diego, Ca. 92101  Tele. #
877-696- 8576 with name of Haffar & Associates Lawfirm. UMMM maybe
someone other than that lawfirm has been using them as a source??
I may try and investigate this since I have relatives in San Diego.
I googled Haffar & Associates.com and came up with this info. Maybe
we should report the website number instead of the 206 # we keep
getting on our call waiting and maybe then these sleases will be stopped.

I have researched other telemarkers calls and some are from National
Geograpic-no way would they telemarket and all days of the night and day.
So some sleases are using them as a ruse and acquiring underground
identities and numbers to harrass us. The do not call list is useless
to these crooks!

This is a menace.  These people keep calling and calling and calling.  No message regarding what they are selling, just irritating interruptions.  Yesterday I was up on a ladder with a heavy shelf in my hands, when the phone rang.  I scrambled down to answer it.  Guess who?  I have turned them into the Do Not Call Registry every time they have called. I have left them very forceful (nasty, actually) messages asking them to stop calling.  No relief.  HELP !!!!!

You guys are right.  I get the calls all the time.  When the guy called his name was Eric.  I played along and after a couple of days of calls I found out who the man in charge is.  His name is Charley Rose, I wonder if that's really his name.  I looked up the Haffar website and Mr Rose isn't on there.  The law firm must be a front for this guy so he can do loan modifications.  I'm sure they are a scam but don't know for sure since I would never give them my money.

I keep getting the same two area codes calling me. I have followed their directions to not be called for the last two months, and I still keep getting them. The other morning they called 4 times in four hours. Isn't this illegal?

I think it’s really odd, why someone would say that Haffar & Associates is making calls. We have Opt in marketing IE: direct mail, San Diego Reader etc... And a really great source that I choose to keep confidential ( due to the fact that we are part of the commission on home owner representation. ) Which we get personal referrals from Martin Andelman himself. This is completely a sad attempt to defame a very legitimate operation that to date has helped over 400+ home owners retain their investment / owner occupied properties(WITH PAYMENT REDUCTIONS OF GREATER THAN 10% OF EXISTING PAYMENTS). I personally am just a underwriter and have never once represented myself as a attorney. Sounds like to me someone out there who was let go from Haffar & Associates isn’t very happy. We will be contacting the site in attempt to receive which IP address did leave the message and moving forward accordingly. We do not have any number or marketing recording going to callers at all.
