Got the same thing, I put her name in Google, Gail Ann Marek craigslist for a Calcomp printer $400 and exact same as everyone here except she offered $200 shipping email is taurus55076@gmail.com. I told her, probably a him, Where are you from? If your close by come and take a look at it, still waiting for the person to reply then I'm really gonna [***] with him, lol

I just got the following from this same scammer...

yeah she got me too, i was selling a wedding gown, thank God i didnt click on any links in her email. i told her she needs to repent!

More-than likely-these emails are generated from Africa. I could be wrong but dont think I am. Just forward the (emails) to the 'Craigslist' Tech guys-let them handle it.

  Contacted me with the same MO come on but the expensive item he/she wanted from me only cautioned me to take it slow and check her out. I found this website here by Bing-O-ing & Googleing her name and coming up with this website.   When he/she reads this, you will know that I ended the scam with, "we're done with this". and mailed it out!

This is the third scammer response I received for the posting and and they all look suspect... since they were asking for some personal information, requested odd payment/shipping conditions, and used very generic terms about the "item" and the "advert" (i.e. Craigslist posting). I googled the Newport, TN address to find this site, and the address is for a posting for a house for sale... Looks like various phone numbers, email addresses, and names are used by this person (or a couple of people doing the same thing).
Funny... I have not received any feedback from "Gail" when I responded with a "F*cK 0ff" message.

I got the exact same message regarding a phone......

She/He is trying to buy a printer from us on Craigslist, but can't even write proper English. I am finding that this is the best way to tell a true scam, is by how they spell and write their emails.

In my suspicion, I searched for the email and found this website. Thank you for confirming my fears. Here is what she/he wrote...

Also received the same exact email, after I had told her the item is no longer available for sale. Plus her english sounded [***] so I googled her name and found this site. Told her to F**K OFF.

Same thing happened to me today...   All of the above is exact to what I got.

Just recieved the same Gail Marek for a wedding ring and band. FYI, i asked where they wanted it shipped to and they said Nigeria. Theres a big clue for you. And just a heads up, after doing the research, you can not ship precious metals or stones worth more than 5 franks to Nigeria via the U.S. postal service... Check their website. They of course tried to deny it and say that I could.
