I have been getting a phone call from some “United States treasury” telling me I’m 1 of so many people eligible to claim some amount of money. They told me to call 206-401-1144 to claim it. I called, some thick accented woman picked up and claimed she worked for the treasury, I hung up. It’s a scam.

Called number that was given for the treasury department and she said it was grant money due to having good credit and no bankruptcy which is true but said go to a store and mentioned Walmart.  I asked a couple questions. Told her I was going to go to Walmart but I called Wal-Mart due to this lady saying that I would have to pay for registration fee of $100 in order to receive my grant money from the treasury department.  Wal-Mart said there is no fee to receive money. The only fee that they would have would be an eight dollar fee. IT'S A SCAM!!!  They're trying to get you to send them $100 claiming that you'll get the hundred dollars back with your $9000 so you'll receive $9100 is what the lady with accent said. She said it's a secured government line but if it was doesn't that have to be mentioned before anything was spoken about?

This number1-888-908-6250 and tel:206-401-1144 have been calling me as a scam

This a scam for work on Washington DC. The area code is 202. The head quarters for the treasurer department is not in Seattle. Treasurer department is a cross from the White House. I worked at 811 Vermont Ave.

Have had this number call multiple times. SCAM!! DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING THEY SAY!! Treasury Dept is NOT giving money away!!
