These guys are scammers pretending that they are a government Social Security office.  Their scam is that they claim to you that you have suspicious activity on your Social Security number and that you are in legal trouble in some shape or form.  Then, once you talk to them, they ask you for your Social Security number and date of birth to "confirm your identity" but their real purpose is to use your personal information so that they can use it for identity theft.  These people are likely targeting elderly people and people of low intelligence that would actually fall for these types of scams.  The FCC should be notified and the FBI should be investigating these people for impersonating government officials for fraudulent purposes.
