They just called here. Caller ID showed Electric Center. Supposedly they look for discounts on your electric bill for PPL and Picot. They are not affiliated with either company according to the foreign woman I spoke to. She wouldn't give either her name or the companies right name. It took 5 minutes for someone to answer their phone. I asked if the information could be sent, but was told she was just an operator and I had to press the number 5 to find out what discount I was eligible for. When I refused to give my account number to her, she said that was fine, was sorry to bother me and I hung up on her.

And got a call here in NJ as well

I get a call from this number almost every day on my cell phone!! This is getting annoying and ridiculous. I am also located in NJ.  What is going on here and how do I block this number?

Same thing - here in NJ and get a call every day -- when i pick up, they hang up, if I call back it just goes to an opt-out service.  IT calls from about 7 or 8 different numbers too.

I don't understand this phone call and they give you the option to opt out and still they will call you the next day.  I want these silly calls to stop

calls but no one answers

I get calls from this number all the time.  I do not answer calls from area codes that I don't know anybody in so have no idea what they want.
