I have received two phone calls from this number.  I ignored the first one, and answered the second time, (today, around 5:55 pm).  I was informed that there was a government deregulation program for electricity that I may qualify for.  They wanted my ComEd account number, and said I may qualify for a removal of the Transmission Services Charge and the Electricity Supply Charge.  The connection was very fuzzy, and before I could answer anything, he couldn't hear me anymore.  I could still hear him, and after trying to get me back ("ma'am? ma'am?") he yelled "aw, come on now, man!" and then there was a long dial tone.  Within seconds, I was receiving another incoming call from 1-800-859-3757, which I ignored.
I don't trust this number.

Received a call from ELECTRIC DISCOUNT CO. on 3/22/12 between 4-6pm, said was a discount company for PG&E and that they have a program for assistance to lower your bill,asked a couple of questions and hung up, asked for my info on my bill, tried calling back from caller id and just got busy signal, I believe this may be a scam, please help me, from calls from this company.

This company called and said they were PGE in California  They were Electric Discount PGE  asked for my number I gave them it and asked if any charge for the service he hung up.  I called PGE Company and they said they do not have a discount program.. But since I gave them a number they will be putting a charge on my bill.  I never said they could do this.  The man from PGE said it will show a charge on my billand also a charge from them.

Call not only my Cell phone number which I never give out due to the minutes I PAY FOR but also my home phone.  Stated that it was an on line survey I signed up for Yeah right.  Again I would have to give out my phone number which I value and refuse to give out. So When I get to that part I quit all of them.

They just called 3-24-12 at 10:30 PM.  I was in bed so no they did not get any type of pleasant person at all.  As I was in extreme back pain and had just laid down.

Received call from 206-445-6114 on 3/22/12 at 3:38pm per Caller ID it was from ELECTRIC DISCNT.  I didn't respond.

contact the RTC ( http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm ) and file a complaint.  Also put your numbers on the DO NOT CALL list right away, this is the only way we are going to be able to shut these numskulls down.

Called and left no message. Called ID showed "VOTE4ROGER US" (???) Added number to Phone Amego block list.

Got a call from them on my Cell phone that I have on the do not call list

503-457-1085 -- Called ID Says "LOWER INTEREST"

Needless to say, I didn't answer it and whoever it was left no message.

Call consistently. I am on the DNC list. it is a machine too. would like them to STOP!!!

Didn't answer the call - won't call back.

Received same call-am also on DNC list. It does not seem to matter - they call back with different phone
numbers.

Stop these calls

If you don't want telemarketers calling you, go do WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV. Works like a charm.

Beware this # states "this is an opt out call as stated by the FCC". Fill in the # you want to opt out from" meaning your tel.#

As a Smith, I have an unlisted number (using a pseudonym), so I am not listed in any White Pages. In short, it's not clear who found the number at which I was called.

I never answer an out-of-state call (except from numbers of intimates posted on my desk).  At the age of 90, I limit my number of intimates. . . .

(206) 445-6114 left a message at 13:00 today, something about electricity discounts I could get from the State of Washington if I pushed a certain number.  I have a Mac, not a pissy, and most who use an iPad are not suckers.

I will write my two New York State senators to see if they can do anything else about what our democracy has wrought – Gore Vidal says democracy is a word used nowhere by our Founding Fathers and which as President Thomas Jefferson their intent was to establish a Republic.  Vidal would turn over in his grave to see the present two parties' conventions, which is an argument for cremation by fire, not electricity

Receive this call all the time. Finally started picking up about 3 weeks ago. Lower your electric bill. Press 3 to be removed from list. Pressed 3 on at least 3 different occasions. Pressed 5 to speak with a rep and told them to take me off their list - very rude woman told me I should have pressed 3. Explained I did that already and she just hung up on me. Called at least 5x since. Picked up 2x and talked to a rep to get me off their list. They are still calling so I guess it doesn't matter. I reported them 2x to the FTC. Also told the FTC their plan to give DNC numbers to telemarketers so they DO NOT CALL is backfiring and the scammers are using it as a DO CALL because nothing happens.

Just got a call.  Didn't answer, no voicemail.  Caller ID said Seattle WA but did not list a company name
