I've been receiving the same call, it's a scam!

Received a call from this alleged "Robert Edwin" person claiming to be from the IRS and saying that if I failed to call back criminal charges would be pursued. I'm a former gov't official - and still it alarmed me - then I realized a) if I were accused of fraud by the IRS - they would b) send a letter - they would not call first. I feel so badly for people who are getting scammed, are afraid and call back. I've always found the IRS very reasonable - but there is fear of the IRS out in the world - so the con people play upon that - and it's been sad to hear that people have lost 23 million dollars or more, particularly from our most vulnerable populations.

I got the same call. Same name called back told them I didn't do taxes and immediately hung up on me. It's a scam!

Got same called robotic messages saying I was under investigation

Also an Indian dude claiming to be from the IRS. I cursed him out and he began cursing back at me. This is a fake number/fake issue.

keep getting calls from this #...and voice message states it's IRS...and I'm being audited...LOL!!...  ( FED. EMPLOYEE) my job would let me know before the IRS!!

My husband is a CPA and got this voice mail on his cell phone.  He wants to call him back just to mess with him, but told him NO, they may charge huge long distance fees if he did.

Received the same exact message.

Ignored the call but left a vm - it was an automated machine from Robert Edwin claiming he is investigating me because of fraud in my taxes. I don't even make enough for me to do fraud.

This is a scam, called my office threatening to jail me if I did not pay large sums of money.

a call from a robotic voice name Officer Robert Edwin claiming to be from the IRS saying they have a Judgement against me and I owe money

this number called me left me a message saying this man was an officer and that i was under investigation by the irs for fraud and was going to be arrested if i don't call them back...

Same call that owe money and under investigation. I called back ranged about 20 times no voicemail

Received 4 calls already today  saying is from IRS and that I need to call officer Robert.

Got the same call today from the same robot officer saying I committed fraud and I am under investigation

Did anyone let their local police know? I am going to call tomorrow. Let me know.please
