Indian dude claiming to be from the IRS

I got the same. Trying to figure out if it's a scam.

Same scamer called me too

Got a call from a robotic voice name Officer Robert Edwin claiming to be from the IRS saying they have a Judgement against me and I owe money. I do remember the IRS don't call you they send letters in the mail. So I know this is a scam. I am going to call the IRS and report them.

IRS scam.  "You are under investigation for fraud.  Call Officer Robert..." or else

Robotic message from officer robert edwin informing me of a judgment against mt irs filing.

Same message as above "Got a call from a robotic voice name Officer Robert Edwin claiming to be from the IRS saying they have a Judgement against me and I owe money"  The IRS doesn't call EVER!!  They send certified letters.  So this number will be blocked.

Received a call from this number stating they were the IRS

Same call. Same robotic voice. Same threat. Tax fraud investigation.  ! $@#$@!

I just received this call from Robert Edwin. I reported it to the Treasury Department at this site, https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam_ok.shtml.I was told my taxes were under investigation for fraud and unethical activities. Not so much.

It's a scam, the IRS only contacts taxpayers via postal mail.

I just received the same prerecorded message as well. I called the IRS and reported the call scam. A press release is posted on the IRS website warning tax payers of this phishing scam.

Robert Edwin from the IRS. Ha ha. IRS don't have this number. Nice try SCAM. Tried the same thing last year.

I just received a call from this number stating they was the irs and when i refused to give my ss# he hung up on me

Shame! Same thing. He asked for my name I provdied only my first and then immediately he asked for my SSN. I told him NO he said he couldn't talk to me then.....as if I was going to be upset!

Received a telephone call from this number. I saw a missed call and called back when I was able to do so. When I did a male answered the phone "Internal Revenue Service how can I help you." I told him that I was returning a call that I received. He asked for my name, I only said my first name. Immediately he asked for my SSN! I told him nope! He said "Well then we can't talk to you." As if I was going to be upset! Ha. Please. I don't care. If you're the "IRS" you know all about me so you wouldn't be calling me asking me for what you already know. Smh. This is so sad that people have so much time on their hands and no love in their hearts than to bother others trying to get such sensitive information

He called me this morning and I was like you called me why do I have to verify any information. Then he hung up
