Just received an UNKNOWN phone call from a man saying that I was being awarded federal grant money for $7000. I asked how I was selected n where exactly is this money coming from? He stated that research was done n that I had no bankruptcies on my record n that the money was from the government. He spoke very fast. My first thought was this is a scam. He tells me to write a number down MU 707 #2064625153 and contact them today to receive the grant money. I Google the # and here I am, Sharing my story.

I figured it was a scam from the start, it called me yesterday and i just hung up. Today I listened though just to see what it was about and same thing. The guy knew all my info have me a code and this number to call. I didn't bother calling.

Same thing happened to me!! This is creepy. Wow I'm so glad I researched this number. The lady said her name was Megan Merris. She's expecting a call from me at 3 to make sure I bought the green dot card and deposited $200. I figured it was a scam. I blocked the numbers

I got a call initially from 234567890 which isn't even a real number but thought I'd answer and go along with it for a while. they did the same thing as other people said that I got a picked to receive a grant from state treasury. so I call the number back and of course they want me to get a card with $200 on it and call back so they can transfer the money back, which is total bs!! dont fall for it!!  

I got that same call from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Letting me know that I was 1 of 16,000 selected to receive a $7000 grant if I send them the $200. I told them I didnt have it right now could I call back within 48hrs if I could get it ...of course they said "yes, that would be fine".
So then I started checking into this BS online & realized that my gut was right, it is yet another scam!

Well this too good to be true!!! They first called me two days ago but i didn't get a chance to pick up. Then they called me today from somewhere in Salem, Ohio. when i picked up it was some dude. Had an asian accent that could barely understand what he was saying so I keep telling him to repeat himself lmao he probably felt like a dumb ass. He said that i was chosen out of my city out of 50 people. And kept repeating that it was grant of 7,000 from the Government. The funny part was when said don't spend the money on gamboling or on unnecessary things. Then he asked me what i was going to use the money of and i said school. Good thing I googled the number before I called the other number that he gave me which is 206 462 5153. I wonder if i should call just prank them hahaha.... maybe sounds like fun.

The number +234567890 kept coming up on my phone & I refuse to answer it until now..it was a woman saying I was chosen for a $7000 grant & gave me the number 206-462-5153 code MU750 to call. I knew it was a scam of some sort I did not even waste my time calling but used the website info above to report it. She said there was no money to send but I guess calling the other number is when I would get hit with the fee. The fact they have my information does not settle with me & its hard for so many people right now & its selfish & wrong to get people excited because you don't know what they could be facing & this could help them yet they are scamming people. Obviously its nothing no one can do about these scammers but they are hurting so many innocent people that just see dollar signs to help them & then they are in worse situation than before. Everyone please be careful.

I got the same call for $7000 grant because I am a good citizen and have no bankruptcy, etc. The person calling me had a Russian accent and said her name is Megan Clark. She said she could not mail the information and that I could only chose now placing the money on a credit card or cash from Western Union. She asked whether I was employed, unemployed, single, married, etc. I am glad I read this stuff and am not going to call them back. It came as unavailable number.

I just received the same call as everyone above. the call came into my cell phone and the caller ID was 1-234-567-890. Not enough digits.  The man had accent that sounded as if the speaker was from India. The call came in at 6:20 pm ET. The caller instructed me to secure my $10,000 grant by calling 206-462-5153.

Hey, thanks a bunch for the link. They were calling 4 or 5 times a day Want to know how they got my info. Grrr. Has to make you mad.

I got that call too.

They called and told me that i won a 7000 dollar grant and that the government said that they chose me. i laughed because i know this is a scam i took the information down and i am going to call and let them know that i am not interested in the "free" 7000 dollars. ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!

Received call from fraud company

I received the call , believed it at first, but it is definitely a scam, no doubt.

206-462-5153 this number called starting I had a grant from gov

I did not answer. Left message saying my social security number had been suspended and to press 1 for further information.  Obviously, that message was deleted and placed into my block number file.  Total scam.
