Same situation as others. Robocall left voice message saying to call 206-462-5501 to discuss IRS lawsuit. Source number was 303-499-8790 which also shows up as a source of various scams.

Ditto:  Received a call at 02/02/2015 8:05 AM MST. MY Caller ID said it was made from a Pay Phone.  WHAT! The IRS can't afford regular phones? This is not the first time I've received a call but the first time I've checked out the phone # and read the above notices.  Thank you all !

i got the same "IRS is filing a lawsuit against you" - phone call at 7:10am!!

From this number: 607-756-9642. They said to call back this number: 206-462-5501.
When I called the 206 number (I called back several times trying to get information) I repeatedly got men with foreign accents . When I asked where they were they referred to 1111 Constitution Ave in Washington DC. HA.... then they got irate and hung up.. I get a busy signal from the 206 number now...

I just got the same stupid message on February 1. There I was [***] myself thinking the IRS is going to sue me for something,  turns out to be a scam. Bunch of idiots.

The IRS communicate by mail, not by telephone.  They do not file "lawsuits".  They send several first class letters, then certified letters, and then they attach your bank accounts and other assets to get your attention.  this all takes several months and a i said you are receiving letters this whole time.

I just received the same call from an 845# that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call 206-462-5501.  I'm glad I found this site to see that its a scam.

Just received on my cell. Left it go to voicemail. Checked and it said I was being sued, and to call 206-462-5501. What a joke. FNNN scammers!!

I received an automated call telling me to call the IRS at 206-462-5501, to avoid a lawsuit!

I had a robo call from 630-213-2463. I heard a female robo voice saying I am being sued by 'IRS' and to call 206-462-5501. I get an Indian sounding man on the line demanding that I go to Walgreens and get a voucher to send somewhere or I will be immediately arrested. Unbelievable.

Claimed to be IRS and filing a lawsuit against me.  I understand this is a scam, but I was petrified when I first got the message because I'm going through a 2012 audit!!!

Yup, I just got one, too.  How can we go after these guys?!?  Caller ID was Tops #551 at 607-733-6833 with the same request to call the 206 #.  Criminal!!

Got the same call.  Out of curiosity called and the man answering told me in bad English he was just heading out the door.  When I asked if this was the IRS, he wanted to know my number so he could look up my "file."  I kept asking if this was the IRS and he kept asking for more information.  Evidently they have trouble keeping their scams straight.

Received call from 618-465-8085 with recorded msg re: IRS is going to take me to court.

Same message call Immediately!

Robocall from 516-785-9767, said it was the IRS about to sue me - same spiel as the previous comments, and I need to call 206-462-5501. It's a SCAM. Straight from the horse's mouth:
