this phone number (206 488 6994) has called my cell phone twice within a few hours leaving a message that " This is a call from the IRS regarding a lawsuit they have filed against you."

Received 3 similar messages today from this number. The IRS does not contact you by phone. They only contact you by registered or certified mail. Do not fall for this scam.

I received the same call. Checked online and found it to be a scam.

I received one call regarding a lawsuit from the IRS (SCAM) and several messages from this number.

Yes, this message is a scam.  The IRS would not send a message in this way.  I received three of these messages in a row.  They would not leave three messages in a row claiming you are being sued.

We were called and 5:44am this morning by these jerks.  They always call using a different cell phone number.  The FCC should do something about this, but since Obama is in charge, they probably won't.

Called said it was about the law suit filed against me by the IRS.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.

This is a complete scam, I received a call from Shawn Gardner from the IRS Debt, who spoke very little clear English, when I requested to speak to his boss and/or supervisor he would not put one on and started to argue. So I called back 7 more times, just to annoy him since he refused to put a boss on the phone. I have NO debt with the IRS and considering, we haven't filed our taxes yet.

Have received multiple calls from this number in the last several days.  They have left a computerized message from "The Internal revenue Services" about asset seizure, etc etc etc.  Obviously a scam!!  I'm thinking I'll pick up the next time and blare some obnoxious music, or  better yet, get hold of an air horn!

I received 3 calls from this number yesterday. I didn't answer it and they left a voice recorded msg saying that the IRS has filing a lawsuit against me.

Received call every 2 hours from this number saying I was being sued by the IRS very annoying!

Message left Feb 5th on my answering machine saying I am being sued by the IRS .  Left the number 206-488-6994 to call back immediately.
These calls come every year at tax filing season gets underway.  Don't be scammed!  We know the IRS NEVER calls you.

I have received several calls from this number saying that there is a suit filed against me.

Cheryl called to day from this number refuses to give her last name, speaks terrible English, and refuses to put a supervisor on the phone, so please call this number and harass them as much just to annoy them as much as they do you.  I say, since they continue to call, let's just call and harass them...

I've received several recorded voice mails from this number.   I returned the call from a phone different from the one they call me on.  The accent on this woman was so thick I could barely understand her.  She said she was an investigator with IRS and wanted my phone number.  I said I find this highly suspect as the IRS doesn't make this type of phone call.  She said if I don't believer her, then don't tie up their phone lines by calling and she hung up.

Claims they are from the IRS with a foreign accent. Come on and won't let you talk to a supervisor"he's busy", name "Jerry Brown". And I talked to a "Becky Slater".

IRS scam  called to say i was being  investigated  by IRS and a law suit was being filed against me.....     scam  scam  scam..... hang up on them and file a complaint ....
