I received a voice message from someone using a robotic voice to say that it was an important matter and threatened me that if I didn't contact them or have my Atorney contact them, that they wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me. They did not give a name but had an ID number that I couldn't hear nor could my phone encrypt it in the encrypted message. I don't know anyone in Seattle and I wouldn't think a professional would make a threat like that or use a robotic voice. It was just plain disturbing and creepy. I hope I'm not the only one that has received anything like this and that I'm not actually targeted.

I got the same weird message last night.

We received a threat call from this number,, of a law suit.   I am contacting my state Attorney General Office, in reference to this call.

The IRS does not phone people. The send letters. Any phone call about the IRS is a scam trying to scare you into making a credit card payment over the phone.

Scammers - do not give them any information.  The IRS does not call you, they seize your stuff!

I have received 3 calls today in a little over 2 hours.

Got one too . Says it's the irs . It's all [***]. Can report the number to the irs on their web site . Fraud I think

Left a voicemail saying to "call back immediately, I repeat call back immediately" in automated voice.

So annoying get outta here!

Called twice. I Hung up first time. Caller left Voicemail second time. Woman's computer generated voice saying I am being sued & must call this 206 #.  Left no info or caller name. Have been warned about these IRS phony calls. IRS sends letters. This is a phishing scam.

3/21/2017 Left me a message on my cell phone to call them back immediately. When I called from my office phone they were very rude, When I asked what this number was, He said he was from the IRS and told me that I owed them money. I explained that I was doing a google search as we speak on the number (206-596-0876)and it shows this number as a scam. he informed me that I could go to jail. I hung up and blocked this number.

Caller claimed to be from IRS saying if I didn't return the call they were going to file a suit against me.

Two calls today.  I called them on the first one.  IRS lawsuit.  IRS wants to collect FOR some company that say I owe them money.  BUT, they won't give me any information.  I told them it sounds like a scam.  I told them to send me a letter stating who says I owe them, send a case number also.  They asked for my name and address.That is a new one on me.  How stupid.

Got seven (7) calls today from 206-596-0876, a computer pre-recorded voice message telling me the IRS is suing me and I needed to call to arrange a settlement "Obviously a SCAM"  I called back, an Indian accent woman answered saying "Customer service" I said remove me from your calling list and she said "oh IRS how can I help you?" I said remove me from your calling list.... She said "please give me your name and number" I said "REMOVE ME FROM YOUR CALLING LIST, you have my number on your screen!" SCAM!!

Received five voice mail messages stating IRS is filing lawsuit against me  and that I needed to call (206) 596-0876 in all five of the messages.  It was a recorded message because it was EXACTLY the same each time.     SCAM!  SCAM!   SCAM!
