I just had to return the call to hear the idiot on the other end of the phone. I started laughing when he introduced himself as working for the IRS fraud department and he asked why I was laughing, did I want to flirt with him!!  I laughed again, told him he's a loser and hung up.  Very deep foreign accent to boot!

Oh no. Local cops are going to get me if I don't call back!!! Lol

Just got the call from 206-596-8752, boy whatttttt a scam! but the scary part, I am sure someone is call them back , to bad

Total scam. I haven't even filed my taxes yet a and the grammar was laughable. Used blocked caller ID to call back to bust on the and the line was busy. Darn!

I got a threat...very un-nerving...and I agree...someone is going to call them back.  Where's the NRA on these matters?

Got a call from these clowns. I called back and talked seriously like I was concerned. They told me I signed for a registered letter. Hmmm...don't remember that. Told them they need to send the sheriff soon as I would be out of the house in a few hours. Haha.. I called back so many times to mess with them they won't take my calls anymore! Them blocked the number when it wasn't fun anymore.

Got the call twice. Called them back from a landline. Played dumb. They asked for the number that they called me on. I said "I have a quick question, do you actually think I believe that you are the IRS?". They hung up. I say stat calling and pranking them. Give them wrong phone #'s, random/made up #'s for credit cards. Just totally mess with them.

Just received 1 of these calls with a message. IRS scam, must respond within 24 hours.

Just had a call from this number - did not answer. They left a message saying there were several warrants out for my arrest and to call at once.

It's funny and no insult to any culture every time I have been called it's always a person with a heavy foreign accent, are there no Americans that work for the IRS, since I owe 4,968.00! They are going to handcuff me in front of my house.

Have gotten 3 calls.  This last time they called at 12:28 am this time..this is getting a little annoying

Can't be done.  Callers are hard core Indian and Pakistani scammer/extortionists and as such they are beyond the reach of US law. Nothing the US government can do at present, and the local governments do nothing.  Occasionally US money mules are arrested but that's about all.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

By all means pick up the phone. Talk to them. Ask how the weather is. What color their underwear is. If they have sex on the first date....etc.... It's fun if you want it to be.

Message told me I have to call back within 24 hours or the local police will be arresting me! I guess my husband will bringing me for a ride in the back of his police car!

They said they were with the IRS and said they had legal matters with me and are going to go after my bank account if I don't call them back. It wad a recording. The phone number  wad 1-844-351-7481

IRS investigation division called me to report that I have to call them back within 24 working hours because there are issues against my name and if I don't call back they will send the local cops to arrest me.  What a crock of moronic BS.  I wasn't born yesterday.  Why in the world would the IRS in Seattle call someone in Georgia?

I did not answer the call and received a threatening voice message that if I didn't call back the local police will arrest me.

I received 2 voicemails from this # so I returned the call... the first guy I spoke with said that they have proof that I received a statement from the IRS regarding the $4,000.00 that I owed. Once I acted very concerned and asked how I could clear this matter up since I didn't receive the notification, he replied "your getting smart with me and that the cops would be coming to arrest me" and then he hung up.
So I called back and spoke with "Officer Brian Smith", I asked if I should contact the "Cops" in attempts to resolve this matter, he said that go to a IRS location to obtain the documentation needed and to call him back.
They are very intimidating, so sad!

Got the same robotic female voice message telling me that orders will expire within 24 working hours and once expired I will be under custody by local cops as there are 4 serious allegations pressed on my name. At this moment, we request you get back to us to discuss this case before taking legal action against you. Call this number 206-596-8752, I repeat, call this number, thank you.

There is SO much wrong with the grammar that gives it away that it is a scam. I need to figure out how to block number on my landline! Getting tired of these phony calls!!

They called and left a message that "there are 4 actions against me by the IRS" Some kind of IRS scam, warns in a robotic voice "Local cops will take you under custody".
Sadly, I am sure there are people who call them back, me, I am waiting for the cops!!
