I didn't get a call from this number, but was given it when someone saw my ad on craiglist about a car we were selling. I actually called the number out of curiosity since whitepages reverse lookup says its from interlogix, it is actually a fax line probably for that company. So i caught myself from making a transaction with scam artist on craigslist.

I recieved a simlar message from the same guy i was curious as to if anyone has actually talked to this mike fellow and if anyone has reported this?

I got the same email for a car being sold on craigslist. looked too suspicious. How do you get this guy behind bars?

I got the same type of message from this email: "Mike O. godson" <mikegodson109@hotmail.com>. I thought it was strange that the person didn't even want to see the vehicle I have on Craigslist before buying it...so I did a search on google and came across these postings here.

How do we report this to either Yahoo (where the email is coming from) or to Craigslist?? This type of spam is very annoying. These people should be put behind bars....I agree. I hope other people find this post. I went ahead and reported the email address as spam within Yahoo.

I too have my truck on craigs list , he must search for poor folks who need to sale something of value and who knows how many people he has hurt. I wrote him a letter stating how ashamed he should be. This guy should be reported somewhere but I dont know how to do that , what can be done about this kind of thing . My truck is still for sale by the was 96 Ford Ranger 4+ will consider offers.

i have a posting on craigs list also and he sent me this am the same exact email...word to word. thank God i googled him.

Report Scams like these to the FBI http://www.fbi.gov/
And if you should receive a bogus check etc.. definately report it to your local authrorities. Be sure to save any and all email correspondence that you had with the person in question with with full headers on. This will make it handy not to mention very useful in tracking the computer & email that this person is using to try & scam via way of using the internet. I'm looking forward to turning in the recent Conterfeit check I just received made out for 3,000.00 .... to pay for an item $120.00!

got the same email from craigslist traded emails witht his guy then he sent me a check for 3800 more than my car was being sold for.
found it quite funny the check was from apple inc. from one of there offices in texas and was mailed ups from some guy in virginia.
then he wanted me to send the remainder for shipping to another guy in texas.
i will be sending this check and my email trail to the fbi and see what they say
