Fast talking, heavy accent female. Stated there is a government program which people don't know about and can get up to $7000.  I asked immediately who was calling, what company. She said it's a government department, would not give name. I asked for website I can check for information. She said sure. usgrant.org. I told her I will check on computer. Before the website downloaded, she hung up.  Website is not government. "Sam Grant" makes presentations about President US Grant & there is a fee for travel expenses and his presentation.  Website claims company is U.S. Grant, inc. a Federally Recognized 501c3 Non-Profit Organization.  There is no phone # for co., only an email contact. Since caller hung up I do not know if the fake call is connected to the org.

Caller ID said Seattle; went to voicemail. Caller (I think a recording) started during the message, so I just heard the end. Something about a $7,800 grant, and I must call 202 670-0584. Didn't call; looked it up here but there was no data on it.

caller scamming for bank info

Just another scammer.

That number called me saying about 7000 I went along with him for alittle and said how did I want to receive the money by direct deposit our me to get a card from Wal-Mart I went off telling them I know they was a scam and not to call me again they called me 8 more times in a roll and done called several days later using a recorded message

Scam!!! Trying to get bank info!

Automated message telling me that I qualified for a government grant of some kind and to call the same number back. Dropped them into my block list.

It was a recording that said that "your name and number" has been drawn for a government grant.

Grant 7800 left a message

got a pre recorded call from this number its a scam for sure

I had "funds" and needed to call to collect.

Wow! I just got awarded $7,000. Ain't I lucky!

This call has been a couple of times and is not legit.

Received call demanding that I send $200 by MoneyGram to remove my phone number from their database.  When I informed the caller that he contacted the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, he accused me of being a waitress!  (I am a criminal investigator for the agency)

Confirm if the caller is a scam

Called twice.  Something about a grant worth $7000.  Call back this # 206-681-9680.  I'm sure some type of scam, asking for expenses to go to their presentation about President US Grant, a General during the US civil war.  Scam.  Terrible people to bother us with phony call.  Don't know how they can give someone a United States Grant worth 7K.

got a miss call. message just gave out the phone number. caller ID says Seattle, WA.
