same as above, received an email stating I was billed for AWS cloud services at $119/month.  Email comes from a gmail account and phone # listed is 1-206-701-6670

Got an email saying I subscribed to  Amazons AWS and will be billed for $119. a month,,,suspected scam

Same as all the above messages. Supposedly Amazon AWS- will be billed $119 per month.

It started with an email for the same subscription service mentioned above. I should have been suspicious since I don’t have an Amazon account, but have used a family members in the past.  Just caught me first thing in the morning, I called the number and 2 1/2 Hours larter it had already cost $2000. They hacked into my Computer while I was online checking a bank account which by the way while they were in my computer they were duplicating the format of my credit union…
He started out nice while behind the scenes he was collecting information and manipulating my computer system.
They made it appear as though Amazon accidentally credited my account $4119 instead of the 119 they owe me for the subscription I never signed up for.
He continued to try to represent Amazon in the way that this overpayment needed to be corrected as soon as possible, asking me to get dressed leave the house and go to the nearest Safeway Rite Aid or CVS for gift cards
You may have thought that by now I would have caught on, but I didn’t even though every bone in my body told me to hang up the phone.
By then I was already out $2000 and “they“ manipulated my computer to make it appear as though they had drawn every last cent out of my credit union account
That’s when I got in the car with the guy on the phone talking and screaming at me the whole time and drove directly to the police station, then the sheriff station comment then the Credit union… I may have lost every cent I’ve earned,  PLEASE DONT OPEN OR RESPOND IN ANY WAY FROM THAT AMAZON EMAIL OR THE PHONE NUMBER RELATED.
Be smarter than me, hang up and then place a call to your bank to see if they even charged an account… and don’t ever answer from that Seattle number again… #GOOUCK 🤬

Same as all the others. Scamer tries to get you to let them take over your computer. "...just to get the information we need..." Also, threatened that there would be an additional $1,425 fee if I don't comply. Total scam.
