Please call immediately on our department number 206-736-7179 make sure you call us as soon as possible again this is officer Steve parker from the internal revenue services.

They cannot be stopped.  Callers are hard core Indian and Pakistani scammer/extortionists.   There's nothing the US can do at present and the local governments do little.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call number s you do not recognize.

Anyone hit by these IRS/grant/loan/Indian/Pakistani whatever scams,  should consider blocking the following area codes:

also area code  202.

The stupid scammers don't understand the difference between Washington State and Washington DC.
They think that the people they call will think that the Washington State area code calls  come from Washington DC.

Same caller and message today.  Looks like they'll be downloading my case into the courthouse.  There goes my weekend.

Got the same call on my voicemail today with a robotic voice. I hope they call again because I will record my conversation with them.
