on 4.18.16 I received 2 Phoncalls and was old the IRS filed a lawsuit against me and I should call back to get more information

On 4/19/16 I got 2 calls from this number.  Both times, I cut off automated voicemails about a lawsuit against me and i should call back to get more info.  When I called back after the second call, an Indian-sounding guy answered "IRS.  How can I help you?" and there was a lot of noise in the background.  Hung up

I received the same 2 calls today.  I actually called back and an Indian-sounding guy answered "IRS.  How can I help you?"

received a call saying the IRS was in the process of a law suit for unpaid fees and to call 206-775-8289 for more information...totally bogus.

Just received a call from these people saying that the IRS was sueing me. What a crock!  I just finished talking to the IRS yesterday and they said everything was good.  Had my tax guy call and double check, he said that there was no issue.  These fools need to get a life.

I got 2 calls today from these same people and the man I talk to said his name is Austin white and the IRS is suing me from back taxes. I told him I haven't work since 2005. He ask me did I want him to issue a warrant out for me and I told him do what you got to do. This business is a fraud and they need to be reported for harassment

multiple calls from this number. 6 times today. These are scammers

Have received multiple missed calls from this number. Answered once and it was a recording saying IRS giving me a # to call that I didn't get a chance to write down. The next time they called I answered again. He (in strong Indian accent) said he was from fraud division of IRS. I said BS, this isn't the IRS's # & they don't call people. THEN he asked me to marry him & said that he will scam people & pay me at least $2000 daily "to drink, dance & buy bags. I will keep you happy, etc.".  I replied that we work for our money and are not POS people that scam other hard workers... Just annoying. Sad thing is- they probably rip a lot of people off successfully- that's what he said any way. Sick.

Follow up- I should have mentioned that these callers most often come up as UNKNOWN. Today the phone number came up when he called 206-775-8289. Said name was Jason Smith lol!

Received two calls from this number. I did not recognize the number so i didnt pick, but they left me a voicemail to call them back to find out more detail about the case....blocked them.

I received an automated call informing me that the IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me and I needed to call them back... The number used was 206-775-8289. Since it am already in the process of fixing some issues I had with the IRS, I know that they are not about to sue me

Revived Several call from this number never answer them

Got two messages from 206-775-8289.  Dumb me called back and told them to go to hell; that the IRS did not make phone calls.  Also, used some pretty dirty names to the foreign caller and then I hung up.  Can't this number be traced and the scam artists prosecuted?

Keep geting calls from the same number.  I didn't pick up.  They don't leave any messages.  Thank you for the info.

I got a call from this number saying they were from the IRS an indian man with the name "Paul Brown" told me his "badge number" and my case number saying that i owe over $10,000 due to an error on my taxes they found when auditing the years 2008-2014 (all years I was claimed on my parents taxes) then i decided to speak with someone who was higher up because i was flustered and not having a great day and after a long pause the same guy gets back on the phone and says "this is steve how can i help you" i got mad yelled to get out the frustration then hung up.
