Scam internal revenue collection call. They should be tracked down as thieves and be put in jail

Recording of weird mechanical/electronic female voice identifying as the IRS informing that a lawsuit is being filed and I should call that number back. (It's both the one on my caller ID and the one that you're instructed to call back.) Jerks.

Some woman with a nasally tone said she was trying to reach me to inform me of an IRS lawsuit

Received a call from a woman advising that I was under investigation from the IRS and there would be a lawsuit. Hung up. They need to be stopped.

I should look into Google before call those thieves.

I received the same IRS  scam message on my answering machine, a woman with a nasal voice threatening to take legal action.

Recieved the same robotic voice telling me that the IRS was investigating me and going to file a lawsuit.  Called the number back and it's not able to receive calls.

Got a call from this scammer. Like above posts some women saying a lawsuit, but then it hung up. Could not call back. Wish I could so that I could practice using my profanity on them.

This isn't the first phone call that I've received that advises it is the IRS and that there is a lawsuit being filed.  The first call I received actually had a local phone number.  I don't remember the area code of another IRS lawsuit.

Same exact message....got another one from another number earlier in the day but said they had to tell me about a case file that number was 3129247684...this one someone answered the phone...I called from another number and they wanted the original number they called and I kept asking in regards to what and they said they have to have the number to tell me....SCAM

Message said that I was being sued by the IRS and that I needed to call the legal department of the IRS.

Said that I owed $1945, but would settle for $600

still going strong with the IRS scam...
