Asked me to go to Western Union to wire them $210 to receive $7000 in free grant money

Received a call from David Reed, Washington DC Grants Department.  Said I was a good citizen, paid my taxes and they want to give me a grant for 7000.  Provided me with a grant number, another phone number to call, his managers name (Benjamin Morris) and his phone number, which was 206-801-1211.  the call came in from 845-477-5883.  I knew it was a scam, so I called them back, wanted me to go get a moneygram for them to put the money on.  I asked for his full government address.  He told me to XXXX myself and hung up.

Just got a call from these pests, offering me a Federal Grant for $7000 if I wired them $210 through Western Union. I told him I knee it was a scam, and he told me that I would pay dearly for refusing him.

Female caller Asian accent, student loan debt  nine thousand dollars

Didnt answer message was just silence then a beep.

When I awnsered the phone an Asian sounding woman called me and said that I had won a grant of $9, 000. Told her that I was not interested and hung up

Asian woman, rude, I said hello four times then she asked why I was shouting. I told her not to call me back. She said I will call you back. I said you better not and hung up. Losers.

I didn't answer and the message was silence and a beep. Just like a previous poster. Blocking another number.
