I called and spoke with Michelle. No last name. Gave me an ID #SA7540. Had an accent, sounded noisy, like a call center.

Call claiming to be from the IRS. Instead, a totally unrelated debt collection agency.

Received a call from 932-566-3661. Let it go to voice mail as I didn't recognize the number.  The message was a computer automated voice saying it was IRS and that this my final notice and to call 206-801-1713.  I did not call either number back but instead Googled both numbers and found similar cases where it appears to be a scam as noted above.  When I Googled the 932 number, it says 'unassigned area code' and "Any area code listed as an unassigned area code is an invalid area code when it was last checked. If you get a call from an unassigned area code, it is likely a telemarketer is spoofing (i.e. hacking) the phone number, making it appear as if they are someone else to prevent the call from being blocked or ignored."  I have blocked the 932 from calling my phone.  I have no financial issues so I can only assume it's a scam or telemarketer and will not be feeding into their phishing.
