A SCAM  calling it's self a IRA agent

Yep! Definitely a scammer! He had a divorced name that I haven't gone by in 10 years.. Saying I owed $3,000 from an audit from years ago (when I was a housewife) I told him I would call my ex husband. The guy with an Indian accent said it was a case only against me.. Impossible because we've always filed together! Bad Karma for him!

This is not the Irs. It's a scam. They called me before. I ignored them and nothimg happened. The irs is not based in this area code.

On my voice mail was an Automated voice saying the irs has a law suit against me. To call a number right away.

This number called my husband and left a voicemail saying the IRS was  looking to sue him.

Left a voice mail saying the IRS was going to sue (didn't say who they were going to sue!). IRS is in enough trouble without being involved in this sort of thing.

They left a voicemail saying the IRS was filing suit against me and I needed to call that number right away.

This is not the real IRS  these people are in the Middle East looking for victims to scam using a spoof number look up online IRS phone scams  they pages off them. I got the same call telling me it was a final notice a lawsuit was filled vs me to call this number. Do not call the number back they lie and try try to steal your info they say the cops are coming any thing to scare people. Call your local police or report them 1800 366 44 84

A automated  voice saying irs would be suing me must call the no right away  I'm sure it's a scam I don't owe the irs and they would write to me not call with a robot  voice and threaten to bring a law suit against  me

Calls every  morning at 9 AM, claiming this is the IRS, and that they are going to sue me. Automated voice

Woman's voice says IRS filing a lawsuit against me. They don't phone for that; you'd get a certified letter, I'm sure. Damn these scammers!

Another call from this number. Definite scam. Brother-in-law worked for IRS and says that's insane that anyone would call about anything like this. Block number and report to police. I have had this call in different forms before- scammers..

I am 22 years old and I received a call from this 206 number. Guy with Indian accent informed me that I owed money to the IRS for an audit from 2010. I was a minor then. He said I owed $2,043.00 and that I needed to go to 711 and purchase 4 visa red dot prepaid cards and set up an appointment for someone to collect the cards from me at my convenient place and time. He said I cannot record, put on hold, or speaker the conversation and if I hang up the phone or do one of those things that he would be forced to put out a warrant for my arrest and that I would be detained within 72 hours. Watch out for this scam!!!

these [***] are spoofing the IRS' ACTUAL number as well. (800-829-1040)  If you get a call from that 800 number, do not answer it. Just call the IRS on your own if you are worried about anything. The IRS has plenty of notices on their website saying these scammers have also spoofed legitimate IRS numbers to scare people into paying money.
