Recording saying final notice IRS is going to sue me.  Must call number for more info.  Bogus scam

Left message on VM automated, said to get more info about this case to  call number back. Message was started before the beep, so it I don't know if it was IRS Scam I've heard about.

Yep...  I just got one as well - around 9:00 am PDT on 10/15/15 - "Final Notice" "IRS will sue"!
It was a female that called this time.
Interesting that this is the 2nd call of this nature I've received this month!

I received same recording that IRS will sue. I called back and no one answered.  Most likely a scam!

Got a message and I called back requesting name and id of its agent to confirm per their website person then stated I had the wrong number   Which was strange as I used inbound number for call back.  Scam!!!

Called this morning as IRS asking for a name and threatened to sue/arrest regarding taxes. Definitely a scam. IRS would have sent notices etc.

Same message as everyone else.  It sure feels like a scam.  I did not call back.

I called back the number and it the conversation was going in and out as if I called a cell phone.  I asked for an agent ID and he gave me one.  However due to the other post I just hung up

Same here. Got a message this morning from this number saying it was IRS. I looked at IRS website, and they say if there is any concern about your taxes they will send a written notice, not a phone call. It is a scam, most for immigrants.

IRS is going to start a suit against me.

The IRS will never call and let you know that they are preparing a lawsuit against you. You will receive a letter by regular and certified mail.  If you ever are in the need to reach them the number is 800-829-1040.

Got two calls today.  One from this and another number; same scam though.
