- Roxx| 1 replyNo message on voice mail.
- Chele| 2 repliesReceived a call on my cell from this number on 9/16/08. Person said they were calling from S.E.I or S.C.I. & asked for me by name. Without confirming my name I asked what it was regarding and she was rather snippy stating "I'd rather speak with XXXX". I hung up
- ANON| 1 replyRec'd a call 9/24/08 on my cell number.
- Caller: Olympic Collections
- Call type: Debt collector
- ANNO replies to RoxxMaybe your VM doesn't come on /on the 5th ring / I think by law they can only let the phone ring 5 times/so if your VM comes on after that as they are hanging up thus no message was left.
And maybe someone dialed your number by mistake.
To error is human.
Once realized the person hung up in order not to inconvenience you. - ANNO replies to Chele| 1 replySounds like you didn't catch the company name
Which is normal most people are not expecting or mind ready for business calls and are thrown off. Whereas the person calling is ready. Having made repetitive calls on the same issue over and over.
They ask for you by name when you didn't acknowledge who you are as the person whom they are calling.
#### It is illegal to give you any information on what it is about/ you are probably a 3rd party / a msg phone / a friend or relative who knows this other person they asked for ******
So that is why they did and should!!!! ask for the person who they are trying to reach through you.
Remember that person gave out your # not the other way around - ANNO replies to ANONThey can call your cell until you ask them not to.
Most agencies demand you put your request in writing.
Looks like you can just tell them to stop calling your cell and they will honor your request. - annoyed replies to ANNOI just bought this phone, pre paid. It started ringing from this number two minutes after I turned it on. I do not owe anyone anything, these are cold calls, just trolling for numbers. Bottom feeders.
- Yar har| 1 replyCalled and left a message and said their name was "Lisa". Did not identify which company they worked for. Said "Hi this is Lisa and we would really like to work this out with you and we are SURE we can." Then hung up. I have no clue who they are, they left a message to me in my name. I called them back and left a message on their system where all I got was "Lisa's" voice mail with no company info.
I left them a message and told them next time leave a company identifier and I will assume you are a bill collector so, according to public law 95-109, you can stick it up your ass. Bye."
Federal law says you don't have to pay a 3rd party collector. Tell them to kiss your ass.- Caller: Unknown

- mike replies to Yar harI just recieved the same call!!!! She gave me her name Lisa and I called back and no answer..
- CiscoI had received more than one call with no message left. Out of curiosity, I finally answered the call. They said they were from "Olympic Collection" and asked for my husband's name (a very common name). I informed the person, who said her name was 'Candy Jackson', that he had passed away over 6 years ago. She seemed a bit flustered, but told me that she was from a collection agency about a medical bill for ME on my husband's insurance.
The thing is, after my husband passed away, I also lost my job due to lack of available work for a time, and had NO health insurance for a couple of years. I finally got work as a contractor for the military for a year, than that contract ended, and I got my original job back. I had had insurance through the military contractor job under my own name, and then insurance again under my own name when I started back at my previous job. I had not had insurance under my husband's name for over 7 YEARS, and had not one but TWO different sources of insurance in my own name since then, so there is no fracking way I could have even had a bill in the last two years that had been billed to HIS insurance.
'Candy' made a couple of comments - that she'd never come across that situation before, but wondered if I might be able to make payments of, say, thirty bucks a month and said that she would call me back on the 25th. She also said (I think she slipped saying this) that it WOULDN'T go on my credit record. She gave me her number, and I hung up.
When I realized that I would need dates of the alleged service if I were to check with my Dr's office to see if they had possibly sent a bill to my husband's old insurance by mistake, I tried to call her back at the number she gave me and got a recording saying that it was not a recognized mail box, or something like that. I checked my phone and realized that I still had the number on there, although it was off by one digit. I might have written it down incorrectly, but 'three' doesn't sound very much like 'eight' and I HAD double checked when I wrote it down.
Anyway, I do believe that this is a scam, and will not pay them ANYTHING. I am currently in the process of trying to build up my credit after several rough years, financially, so if it ain't going on my credit report, why the HELL would I give these turkeys money? In other words, I'm glad I checked, and glad that I figured it out. I am going to report this to the better business bureau. Also, I have a feeling, after reading some of the above comments, that 'Anno' is a plant by this company, trying to 'explain' some of this utter [***]. I also get the feeling that they aren't from this country or they would know that ALL CAPS IS EQUIVALENT TO YELLING.- Caller: Olympic Collections (allegedly)

- RFCollection agency
- MmThe called and left a very vague message i called but she said I was served paper from civil court in 2013 and that I need to pay it she gave me a court number but there was no information about the case when I looked into. I feel like it is a scam. When she left the message she did not say who she was calling for just her name Susan cable for oci and to caller back.
- Caller: OCI
- Call type: Debt collector
- SHLeft this exact message: "My name is Susan Cable, I am with OCS. My direct number 206-812-1766. If you could return the call". That's it. She didn't provide my name or any other information, and she definitely said "OCS" instead of "OCI" (a debt collection agency), which leaves me even more confused. I have no outstanding debts that I have been made aware of and I won't be returning the call.
- Caller: OCS (?)
- LDSame voicemail received as last poster, but it’s happened at least 5 times now with no further info. "My name is Susan Cable, I am with OCS. My direct number 206-812-1766"
- Caller: OCS (?)
