Recived call, from someone claming, I had won a large sum of money in a contest. I Needed to send $900.00 and a person idenifying himself as an FBI agent,even gave a badge number, would deliver the prize check to me. Hung up after trying to get more info from him. They wanted more ifo from me, didn't get any.

I received a phone call from this number from a David Miller. He said I won 50 thousand dollars and a car.

Things to believe:

• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
• If it sounds (or looks) too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government    <<<<<<<<<<
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot", MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites.
• The 876 area code is NOT your lucky number, and does cost money to call it!

I am receiving this number saying I am under a federal investigation.

I just got a call telling me I just won $100.500,000.  This is the number I am supposed to call to verify:  It will only cost me $5,000 to get the I.R.S. to release the check."

Oh, yes, I'm supposed to talk to David Miller and give him the reference number.

David Miller left a message that he is with FBI and doing an investigation and I need to call him back.... I think its bogus.

Claimed I had won $500,000 and a new car. Name was Melinda Ford. Said I'd have to talk to her manager claiming I had signed up with a company never heard of and they had to do an investigation. [***]. Nothing is free.

I got the same thing about 1 hr ago too.  Davis Miller and Melinda Ford from this number.  I hung up.

Received a message from Melinda Ford, federal agent from revenue services, they know my name and address. But when you call them back, no one ever answers..

Received call from David Miller at this number. Claimed to be from IRS and needed to talk to me right away. IRS sends letters, they never call.
