Oh, but it's not. Not even a little. That site is sketchy as hell. The icons at the bottom which would otherwise be secured links to the appropriate websites are just images (and not even the correct images), not links.
They're behind a proxy, which in this case, makes it sketchy. http://whois.domaintools.com/federalandstategrants.org
If you get one of these calls, you should go here, and learn how grants work. http://www.fraud.org/scams/telemarketing/government-grants
And finally, should you need a grant, the official government website for grants is here; http://www.grants.gov/

- DawnI was called and informed by Jim Berry saying that I was approved to receive a independent living grant for 7500.00 for the next 5 years because I pay my bills and taxes on time. He told me that he was the account manager and call him back at 2029051122. He gave the federal reserve website and it said nothing about the qualifications that he had stated to me on the website.

- STELLAReceived a call claiming I was being awarded a government grant for assisted living at $7400 a month for 5 years. The guys name was Antonio Smith but could barely speak English. He said I was selected based on a survey in 2013/2014 which included a background check to ensure citizenship and any possible legal trouble. He gave me a claim number and the number 206-905-1122. He said once our call was disconnected I was to call the number and speak with an Account Manager. At first I was amazed with call after applying for state grants but there was the one thing that stuck out as a legitimate scam I've fallen for in the past. Before we hung up he asked me "how are you going to use your money?" Although he did not ask for my personal info I have heard of these scams. So sorry but I know every grant requires an application. The State nor Federal government give away money. They are more focused on a six figure income than helping the American citizens.
