- BigA replies to MikeBoy this guy is a busy beaver. 6 pages of "it is Amazon delivery" reports. So you knew who called you yet you looked up the number anyway? Yeah I always do that.
- KenoshaI received 2 calls, no message and I did not have an Amazon order pending. Also, Amazon does not have this phone number connected to my account. Suspicious!! Caller was BLOCKED.
- Caller: Seattle, WA
- mememeDidn't leave a message, but my package was outside. Amazon Prime
- Kalso amazon for me, although why they call for piddly stuff in the packages (and a regular delivery) and NOT for the new PS4 they just left totally exposed on my doorstep is beyond me.
- Caller: Amazon
- Wen Chen4 calls within one minute at 9.10 P.m.My God. I didn't order anything and they kept sending messages to me from Aug.16 to tonight. Thank you. I don''t want anything I didn't order although it is free! I don't believe they are Amazon's deliver
- Caller: Amazon
- Unknown SkepticThis is Amazon Deliveries calling for package drop off. If you use Amazon I suggest saving to your phone. They only sometimes leave a message.

- monicabj replies to Resident47I agree with Resident47. I live in St. Paul. I received a call that said 206-xxx-xxxx, Seattle Washington. I was expecting a package from Amazon and absolutely dread AMZL deliveries, nothing but BAD to say about them. The number itself said 'spam call' so I did not answer. Two minutes later there is a knock at my door and it's AMZL himself along with his cell phone. I asked if he was the one that called and he said yes. I said to him you called me long distance when there was an apartment call box two feet from you? AMZL said nothing. I asked why he was using a Seattle area code; AMZL said that is where I am from. NOPE! sorry, messed up and unprofessional. FEDEx/UPS/USPS they're cool, they do miss once in a while, but they KNOW what they are doing. This is just once experience of many I've had with AMZL.
- Chefbuggz replies to RebeccaYes thanks for posting it was Amazon...
- Karen replies to TaraI just got a call and didn't answer. Then 2 min later, a knock at the door. The Amazon Prime delivery man left a package of earbuds I had ordered on my front porch. He then called back to get the code to get out of my complex.
- Fed Up replies to Tara| 1 replyThis is all both interesting and disturbing. I am replying to the first post in this thread in case my comment is helpful to others. There are seven screens of responses, and I read about half of them. It is clear that this number does indeed represent a delivery (or delivery attempt) from Amazon. I also received a delivery from Amazon (not specifically Prime or Prime Now as some posters mentioned) through their corporate delivery service AMZL within minutes of this call. I have had dozens of deliveries from Amazon via UPS or USPS, and now Amazon is using their own delivery service AMZL.
This is the first and only time I have received a phone call in connection to an Amazon delivery. I never answer unrecognized numbers, and this one displayed "Unknown Name". The package was left at my front door, and my doorbell did not ring. (However the text I received from Amazon said the package was left at my back door.) The disturbing part is that dozens of individual delivery drivers in dozens of states all make calls through this same phone number. How is that possible? These drivers (independent contractors?) obviously have some (spoofing?) facility provided by Amazon. I agree with many posters that since Amazon is providing the phone number, they could also provide a caller ID, and they should do so.
I will continue to ignore unrecognized/unidentified numbers, and I am disturbed to see that Amazon apparently uses what amounts to a number-spoofing technique, especially without identifying their company in the caller ID. I will continue to rely upon, and appreciate, the text notification that Amazon sends when a delivery is made. The phone calls, in their present form, and less than useless. - JMarx replies to TaraNO!!! it's Amazon Prime with your delivery.
- THPThis number is from Seattle so I didn't pick up. Turns out with it Amazon trying to get a hold of me to drop off Amazon Prime delivery.
- KellyI use amazon all the time this has never happened before. They always text delivery notice. Sounds funny

- seymour butz replies to Rebeccathank you for posting this . read your reply and looked outside and it was package
- Nic replies to Rebecca| 4 repliesIt is Amazon Prime! They just delivered to my home this evening (though I was out at dinner). It was nice to have my package on the porch, waiting for me.
- CelticDragon replies to Nic| 2 repliesThat does not mean that scammers aren't spoofing the number to appear legit.
