They called this evening and it was a survey asking if I thought the country was going in the right or wrong direction and about who I would vote for state and national offices.

called twice 4 minutes apart and did not leave a message.  suspect a scam

The person who called me first requested to talk to me (she knew my name) then said they were a  Third Party Administrator wanting to verify this was my number. I asked her what company wanted this information and she said she did not know who it was but could request it. I hung up at that point because I didn't want to give out any more info.

A woman from Data Validation said that a 3rd party was trying to clean up their contact list by checking to see if this was still my number. She said she could not tell me who the company was but that she could tell them to contact me directly if I wanted. I told her that if someone wants to know if this is still my number then they should call me directly and not hire a company to do it. So she submitted the request.
